About the venue
Immerse yourself and your participants in the serene beauty of West Cork's countryside. Our resort is enveloped by acres of unspoiled nature, offering a peaceful sanctuary for reflection, relaxation, and connection with the natural world. We are directly on the Eastern route of The Sheeps Head Way, and the area provides many walking and hiking opportunities.
Participants can indulge in the comfort of our premium lodges, meticulously designed to provide a harmonious blend of luxury and eco-conscious living. Each lodge offers spacious interiors, modern amenities, and panoramic views, ensuring a restful retreat experience for your guests. All beds can be configured into Super King or Twin and each lodge contains a full kitchen, bespoke bathroom with rainfall shower, and the unique addition of a private alfresco bath attached to the side.
There is also a communal sauna and cold plunge, and a beautiful rewilded pond area with deck and outdoor seating. Our retreat offers a variety of versatile event spaces to accommodate your retreat.
For activities requiring an indoor space we have “The Sanctuary”, a large light filled space that boasts floor to ceiling panoramic windows, a commercial kitchen and toilet and shower facilities. Set on 1.8 acres of grassy land with a dedicated rewilding area we also have unique outdoor spaces for you to utilise. Located just an hours drive from Cork Wild Hideaways offers easy access for retreat participants travelling from near and far.
Despite its accessibility, our secluded location provides a sense of escape and tranquillity, making it the perfect destination for retreats.

Nestled amidst lush greenery and sweeping landscapes, our resort provides the perfect setting for hosting transformative and rejuvenating retreats. Just 10km from Bantry town, and a short 10 minute drive to beaches and the sea, guests can enjoy the best of both worlds, a coastal getaway thats also in the heart of the rural countryside.
There are many extra activities to enjoy such as guided hikes, Foraging tours, forest bathing, sea charters and kayak hire, all on our doorstep, as well as the famous Sheep’s Head Way and St Finbarrs Way pilgrimage walks.
