Beneath the medieval Kasteli of Pyrgos, Historical Villa Santa Croce is a beautifully restored Venetian residence offering an exclusive retreat experience where history, privacy and mindful luxury come together.
Lovingly reconstructed over seven years under the supervision of the Greek Ministry of Culture, the villa has transformed the ruins of a medieval tower into one of Santorini's most distinctive private heritage homes. Today, it welcomes guests seeking meaningful experiences in an authentic setting, away from the crowds yet within easy reach of the island's celebrated beaches, wineries and archaeological sites.
Designed exclusively for one group at a time, Santa Croce accommodates small groups up to ten guests in five elegant double bedrooms distributed over two independent living levels; the ground floor features one Master bedroom suite with private copper bath, two double bed mezzanines and a bathroom with shower. The first floor features a double bed room, a double bed mezzanine and a fully equipped bathroom with shower and bath.
The villa combines original volcanic stone architecture, handcrafted details and contemporary comfort, creating an intimate environment perfectly suited to executive retreats, leadership off-sites, creative workshops, wellness escapes and private family gatherings.
The property extends across approximately 240 m² of interior living space distributed in 4 levels with generous panoramic terraces overlooking Santorini and the Aegean Sea.
