Catherine at Zinc contacted us at Venue Retreat asking for our help and guidance on finding the perfect venue for their team retreat.

After having an initial consultation call we understood the main objectives of the retreat, the standards they were looking for, somewhere special, unique, different with amazing service, accomodation and close to an international travel hub.

Initially Catherine just wanted us to focus on warm sunny locations for their team retreat. But as we always liked to open our clients minds and imaginations we love to throw in some curve balls and wildcards to other locations and experiences. And they really did love what we showed them.

Maglian’s Hosting Expeirence

It was definitely a logistical challenge - with a group of around 100 people, everything has to be perfectly prepared, otherwise small issues become big ones fast. Charlotte, Sam, and I went through every single detail together and made sure we covered all possible trouble points before arrival.

After that, I shared everything with my team and divided responsibilities so everyone knew exactly what to focus on. Andrea handled the field trip day - she booked four different activities, restaurants, and buses. Biljana managed all the transfers and timing. Our main chef created a menu that covered every dietary requirement, and Aleksandar organized all the on-site activities like hiking, Country Olympics, and orienteering.

Meanwhile, I was overseeing everything, making sure it all stayed on track and helping wherever an extra hand or quick decision was needed.
